This is a good AA and AAA charger. I've purchased two of these over the past year.Supplied 2700mAh AA batteries each time they were defective - could not hold out for more than a few days. I got good, free service from Sony in getting the defective batteries replaced with working 2500mAh ones. As for this article is "all bad reviews: So if I give" lousy everything "a 1 star rating if I do not agree with (ie. it's bad at being lousy at everything) but 5 stars if it is really good at being 'lousy at everything'? Doesn't the normal star rating for a product offer one's opinion on the overall 'lousy-ness' albeit in reverse fashion?
